MBC Student in Social Journalism Workshop

Breeding the next generation of responsible and intelligent journalists is the purpose of MBC Social Journalism Workshop headed by Ms. Aly Narvaez held at Development Academy of the Philippines, February 20, 2016.




Manila Broadcasting Company together with its successful radio stations created the event to educate students all over Metro Manila regarding to responsible journalism through a workshop with the help of established personalities in the media industry and politics.



For the first day of the event, Kiko Pangilinan (Cabinet Member of the current Administration), Mark A. Villar (son of former Senator Manny Villar), Emma Nagy (Public Diplomacy-coned Foreign), Corazon de Leon (Secretary General of Red Cross), Rejie Jularbal (Station Manager of DZRH) and Karen Golfo (Radio Anchor) shared so much knowledge regarding to social journalism and how future journalists should act and dream to day for the future reality of the next generations.



Feb. 21 (Tomorrow) new set of prominent people in the media industry will share their knowledge (VP for Corporate Affairs Group of the Phil. Deposit Insurance Corp.), Angelo Palmones (former Station Manager of ABS-CBN DZMM), Cesar B. Chavez (Radio Anchor), and Aly Narvaez (Project Director of this event). After the conference, the participants will have the chance to tour around tagaytay.
