Wishing for more likes on Instagram?

I must admit.

It's really hard to have an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G photo and compete with professional photographers showing off their gorgeous piece on instagram. So I tried my best to at least give you some secrets on pulling off an Instagram- Worthy photos.

1. Good Subject

For you to gain more hearts (like) in instagram, you should consider picking a good subject that people will relate or amaze them. It could be artsy or just natural, the interpretation still depends on your viewers.

In this photo, as I construe it, the subject (which is me) is looking up high together with a smile which symbolizes confidence and strength. The photo makes me feel inspired and hopeful which is a good reason for the instgrammer to hype the photo. You can also use other subjects tthat will attract more users like food, places, animals etc.

2. Lighting

I prefer taking pictures in daylight, it makes the photo look natural. Having a good lighting in your photo will also give you more details and story.

3. Positioning of the Subject and Background

A tip for newbie, its alright to spend so much time on capturing your subject the more they move, the more the story you'll get. With that, you can pick the best. Yeah, I know, It's tiring to delete other photos that you'll not use anymore but still you have your best shot.

When it comes to background you should consider using plain shade of colors to have the effect of focusing on the subject rather than the background. But if you're trying to have a natural theme or showing the reality, capture it as it is.

4. Editing Tools

The most used editing app by most instagrammer is called VSCO. It's an application that helps Its users to creat, discover and connect through photos. I also use other editing softwares like Adobe Photoshop and XARA.

5. Getting the Angle

Every angle of the photo makes a new story. so make sure of syncing your caption to what the photo tends to leave the viewers after seeing it. DOF or depth-of-field is also an important element on photography that makes the photo to look more subjective.
